Farruca
Farruco was the name that people from Andalucia used to denominate people from Galicia, from where this song originated, with a 'copla' of four, eight syllable, verses, the second and fourth rhyming.
The definitive adaptation to flamenco is attributed to Loli, although its great driving force was Manuel Torre. Presently the 'farruca' is heard seldomly, except when it is accompanies a dance, a dance created by Faico, and is only usually performed by men.
It is based on minor tones and follows the beat of the 'tanguillo'
