Ibéricos Langenal is a family-run business located in the small town of Faraján, Malaga.
Immerse yourself in a story that spans three generations of dedication and passion for Iberian ham. From the humble beginnings of our grandfather Pepe Ruiz on the Guadarrin estate, located in the heart of the Genal Valley, to the development of our company today.
José Antonio Ruiz is the third generation of this family of livestock farmers dedicated to the breeding and production of Iberian cured meats.
Through the recently launched Iberotour experience, you will learn in depth about the process of breeding Iberian pigs, taking a private route in a 4x4 Land Rover through the chestnut, oak, holm and cork forests located in the heart of the Serranía de Ronda.
On a farm of more than 300 hectares, they arrange visits for small groups to see the pigs in their environment, their diet and their routines in complete freedom. After the visit to the estate, everything learned will be applied in the tasting of cured meats and Iberian ham paired with wines of the Serranía de Ronda, and during which a brief ham cutting workshop will be held and an explanation given on how to taste this high-quality product. The visit lasts around three hours and can be held at any time throughout the year, although the months of October and November are the most suitable for seeing the forest with its beautiful ochre colours.
