The Church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen is located in Estepa, in the province of Seville.
The church started out as the chapel of El Cristo de la Sangre ( 1636) patronised by Juan Martín Formariz. It has one of the most iconic Andalusian eighteenth-century Baroque façades which was the work of Andrés de Zabala. There is an interesting niche ( 1714) which is home to the devout Virgen del Carmen, donated by Marchioness Leonor Ma Centurión in the second half of the 17th century.
