Nuestra Señora de Gracia Church

The presence of the Franciscans in Estepa dates back to the end of the 16th century, although the works on the convent and the church began in 1612 and finished in 1646. The Church of Nuestra Señora de Gracia was built on the remains of the primitive Chapel of San Cristóbal.
There are interesting eighteenth-century altarpieces from the Lucentian and Antequera schools. The image of Saint Francis of Assisi is the work of the courtly and academic sculptor Luis Salvador Carmona ( 1743)
