Our company Bodegas Blanco El Bodegón was founded in the middle of the 20th century, by Francisco Blanco Jiménez with the name of El Bodegon, it began with a small office in the center of Estepa and later moved to C / Écija where the aging winery is currently located. wines and vinegars. Estepa has traditionally been a land of wines, an example of this is the bunch of grapes that bears the shield of the city.

It is true that after the great phylloxera plague in Spain in 1870, no more grapes were planted in steppe lands. Mainly supplying the payments of Montilla-Moriles. Its geographical location in the southeast of the province, in the Sierra Sur region and within the transit area between the countryside, the Betic depression and the first foothills of the Subbetic mountain range, make this enclave the perfect place for winemaking.

In recent years we have carried out a series of reforms in our facilities, to adapt them to the enjoyment of all visitors who come to know our wines. All our facilities have been musealized, with old vine farming tools, old tools from the noble profession of cooper, as well as centenary boots and bocoyes. In short, a tour that will undoubtedly activate all the senses.

Our winery has been museumized so that everyone who visits us can, in addition to taste our wines, visit the facilities and learn first-hand what the aging of wines and vinegars consists of. We welcome both individuals and groups with prior reservation. The visit to the winery usually lasts between 20 and 40 min. Inside the winery, in the patio a space has been set up as a tabanco to taste the different wines accompanied by local pork.
