Espiel Fair

The Espiel Fair is an annual festivity held in the town of Espiel, Córdoba, in honour of its patron saint, "La Virgen de la Estrella". It usually takes place over several days in August. 

During the fair, residents and visitors alike can enjoy a wide variety of events, including sporting competitions, concerts, activities for children and adults, and bullfighting events. 

The inauguration usually takes place with the switching on of the lights and the crowning of the queen of the festivities and her maids of honour.
