La Muela Park
With an area of approximately 30 hectares, La Muela Park stands out because of its rich landscape, with views that stretch out over several dozens of kilometres on a clear day: Sierras de Esparteros, Montellano, San Juan, Líjar, Sierra del Tablón and El Terril and Zafragón Rock.
Forests and farms coexist in this area, and there are many different plant species such as pinyon trees, olive trees, carob trees, holm oaks, cork oaks, myrtle trees, kermes oaks, mastic trees, olive trees, poplars, tamarind trees, acacias and a multitude of wild plants.
You can usually find hares, moles, frogs, lizards and wall lizards, goldfinches, greenfinches, bee-eaters and a multitude of insects.
In the park you can also found the Sol Fountain, an iconic place in the history of El Viso del Alcor, La Muela Fountain, and the pipe that carries water to the pond.
A motorhome park was opened in 2021 next to one of the entrances to La Muela Park. It is equipped with everything you need to enjoy the overnight stay, food, shopping, etc.
