Aula de la Naturaleza El Pocito

The El Pocito Nature Centre is an environmental education centre in El Viso, Cordoba. It offers a general and simple view of the Los Pedrochesregion, characterised by areas of great ecological and natural value, with a large variety of animal and plant species.

It also aims to encourage environmental education in the town of El Viso and in the region, promoting knowledge and respect for the environment.

The El Pocito Nature Centre runs activities for schools, seminars, conferences, talks and courses for all those interested in environmental education.

Its facilities include exhibition rooms on fauna, plants and renewable energy; a conference room, a farming area: organic vegetable plot, fruit trees, Mediterranean tree species and aromatic plants, and a farm. It also has areas for rest and recreation.
