El Ronquillo is a village with great natural beauty in terms of flora and fauna, for enjoying a privileged setting between two riverbanks, reason enough to carry out successfully the Nature Observation Park project.

Its history dates to 1997, when the town council proposes the environmental recovery of its surroundings with the goal of offering education and rural tourism.

It has a botanical garden and climbing wall.

The Nature Observation Park offers the opportunity to observe the different natural species in semi-liberty, as well as different types of native plant species from the Sierra Norte of Seville: oak, cork oak, stone pine, maritime pine, white willow, strawberry, carob, mastic and oleanders. The following plant species can be seen in the Botanical Gardens: rosemary, lavender, wild rose, lady of the night, heather, oaks, dwarf pomegranate, strawberry tree and broom, among others.

It also has a series of additional facilities, therefore fulfilling its initial mission: environmental, education, tourism and recreational.

Monday to Friday: 11am to 1pm and 4-7pm. Saturdays and Sundays: 4-7pm.

Free Entrance.
