One of the most famous and crowded pilgrimage in Spain arrives, another year, to the village of El Rocío.
After traveling on pilgrimage on foot, horseback or in carts to any of the different roads, a huge crowd of devotees from various "hermandades" reach the gates of the shrine.
At midnight, at dawn on Monday of "Pentecostés", it will begin the recitation of the Holy Rosary, and after the procession of the "simpecados" of the "hermandades" in front of the shrine, the devotees and the people from Almonte will assault the shrine (the famous "jump grille") to take out the "Blanca Paloma", as the Virgen del Rocío is popularly known.
