For example, the Spanish imperial eagle, short-toed and lesser short-toed larks, the spectacular mixed birds colones of imperial heron, night heron, squacco heron, glossy ibis, little egret and cattle egret, marbled teal,  white-headed duck, ferruginous duck, black-winged kite or also dozens of purple swamphen, collared pratincoles, montagu's harriers and in winter common cranes and greylag goose, short-eared owl, pallied harrier, black storks... Between ricefields, cultivated lands with many fruit crops, wetlands, freshwater lagoons with the big lagoon of Dehesa de Abajo, forrests and mediterranean shrublands, the diversity of birds we can see  is impresive  and the abundance of few species can be quite high depending on the season.
