C.E.A.A.N. Coto de la Isleta
The Coto de la Isleta Centre for Environmental Education and Countryside Activities (C.E.A.A.N.) is a centre for environmental education and sports in nature promoted by the Town Council of El Puerto de Santa María. Its main objective is to bring visitors closer to the surroundings of our town through activities that bring them into contact with nature.
The C.E.A.A.N. Coto de la Isleta is located in an estate of over 8.5 hectares of pine woods and marsh, situated in the forest park of the same name and by the sea inlet known as the River San Pedro. It is also on the edge of the Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park, a natural space that covers over 10,000 hectares of marshland, salt lakes, beaches and pine woods.
All of its activities have a very low or zero environmental impact: kayaking, archery, orienteering, bike rides, climbing activities in a climbing centre, such as rock climbing, bouldering, zip-wiring and abseiling, gymkhanas and rallies, multi-adventure activities, sports competitions in the countryside, puppets shows, etc.
