Rafael Alberti foundation is in El Puerto de Santa María, in a typical Andalusian house where the poet lived when he was a child.

Rafael Alberti foundation, since its setting up in 1993, is a house opened to poetry, and one of its main objectives is to promote the study and interest in poetry. Among its activities, it stands out the summer event called Encuentros con la Poesía, where a wide range of activities with poetry as principal axis is offered every year.
