History

Even though this town has existed for a very long time, its real history started in the middle of the 20th century, when a large group of country houses was built for farmers from nearby towns, together with plots of land to be exploited.

This mainly agricultural area has a large amount of greenhouses in which a wide variety of vegetables are grown to be distributed in Spain and other countries. The town has grown considerably during the real estate boom.
