La Garganta

Located in the District of El Chorro, the Restaurante La Garganta is a part of the Rural Tourism Complex of the same name. It is located in a spectacular natural setting, overlooking the Pantano de El Chorro, the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes gorge and the Caminito del Rey trail.

La Garganta belongs to the select group of restaurants and agri-food companies comprising the "Saborea Guadalhorce" Gastronomic Club, the cuisine of the Algarbía, with the sole aim of serving regional cuisine rooted in the homeland and based on its products, cultivated and harvested by local men and women.

Your senses are delighted with the aromas, the colours, the textures and the unique flavours of its traditional cuisine.

The Restaurante La Garganta has private rooms for your business or family meals, and also organises small weddings in unrivalled surroundings. There are spacious lounges with views over the Caminito del Rey trail and a number of outdoor terraces, all beautifully prepared.
