Mesón Casa Emilio
Located in Ecija's famous Plaza de España, Casa Emilio is a magnet for visitors to the town.
Casa Emilio brings you the most traditional local dishes, such as its exceptional "sopa de gato" soup. This recipe dates back to the post-war period and originally used what little was available. The locals joked that even the cats didn't like it. Today, it is something special, with the addition of asparagus, rich stock and eggs.
The menu also includes stews of the day, including chickpeas, lentils and "cocido". The oxtail and octopus "a la gallega" are exceptional. Other highlights include its varied tapas, shellfish, red meat and fresh fish.
Family and business lunches, stag nights and any type of event.
Everyday from 8:00 am to 1:00 am.
