The Official Ecija Tourist Office offers free information on what to see and do in the fascinating and historic city of Ecija and the surrounding area. It has free maps of the city in Spanish, English, French and German, as well as information on the opening hours and details of local monuments.
The Ecija Tourist Office is close to the Palacio de Benamejí Stables, which are also open to visitors. This is home to the Equestrian Visual Interpretation Centre and displays a magnificent 270 degree light and sound show on the world of horses in Ecija.
Ecija was declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1966. It boasts outstanding Roman heritage and an impressive collection of Baroque buildings, churches and palaces.
Ecija is a unique and little-known town in the heart of Andalusia, halfway between the historic cities of Cordoba and Seville.
Ecija's Tourist Office organises and is the starting point for a number of guided tours that take place throughout the year: monuments, archaeology, legends, convents, the Baroque, tapas by train, etc.
