Granja Escuela El Molino de Lecrín
The main objective of the El Molino de Lecrín Farm-School is to help society, especially schoolchildren, to understand nature and bring them closer to a natural, rural environment.
There are nine dormitories sleeping up to six people, all with bathroom.
It is an old 1,500 square-metre flour mill which has been refurbished and adapted to its new function as a hostel and a farm-school. The entrance is through a patio which leads to a large dining room, the kitchen and the stairs leading up to the library area, some of the workshops and the bedrooms for the teachers; This leads to two floors with the fully-equipped, heated dormitories. The multi-purpose rooms and workshops are located on the different floors of the main building.
The El Molino de Lecrín Farm-School covers 30,000 square metres and is located in the valley of the Dúrcal River; there is poplar wood and irrigated vegetable gardens.
