La Corchuela Peri-urban Park comprises the land that once made up the farmstead of the same name. There are many things to see and do in this nature area. It is very popular with the residents of nearby Dos Hermanas and Seville.

At La Corchuela you can enjoy a range of different ecosystems, all with typical Mediterranean mountain species. The south area of the park contains a valuable area of holm oaks. The northern part, meanwhile, has a small copse of wild olive trees, along with old scrub plants to be found throughout the area. In order to make it easy to identify wildlife here, you will find various information panels with details, mainly of bird species, such as the little owl, black kite, cuckoo, thrush and partridge. This information is available at various points on a trail that runs around most of the park.

Various watercourses such as El Hornillo Stream make the area a little cooler, and are home to riverine vegetation with poplars, willows, tamarisk and bulrushes.

There is a range of recreation facilities to be found in the shade of the large pine wood. Next to the car park you will be surprised to find a small old bullring that belonged to the La Corchuela farmstead. It has been adapted for educational activities.

Park opening times: Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, 10am to 6pm.
