Doña Mencía en bicicleta

Doña Mencía by bike is the connection between the Olive Oil GreenWay, the historical-cultural heritage of Doña Mencía and the famous wine of our city.

The starting point is in the GreenWay and allow us to walk with a wonderful landscape of Sierras Subbéticas Natural Geopark, supplemented with railway that joined Linares-Puente Genil or that is called Oil Train.

The bicycle line drives us untill the old town of Doña Mencia, worth visit of the castle and the Calvario's viewpoint. Pilar de Abajo offers us a relax experience, together of the aroma of the place and the crystal water of the pilar.

The route goes into tthe town by the winding streets and original houses untill the ending in the winery with D.O. Montilla-Moriles and the Wine Museum, where we'll be able to taste the variety of wine of our region.
