Small village in the Nacimiento area, next to the road Almería-Guadix, near the river with the same name.

Belongs to the municipality of Las Tres Villas, being the most important core and where, with Ocaña, is concentrated the administration. Its territory is situated at the foot of Sierra Nevada, and therefore is included in the Natural Park of Sierra Nevada, a natural paradise of the community for its rich landscape, flora, fauna and anthropology.
