Casa Rural La Cocorocha

Located in Sillar Baja (Granada), municipality of Diezma, Casa Rural La Cocorocha is found in the Sierra de Huétor natural park of Sierra Arana, in a valley at a 1,350 m altitude. The eastern part of the Park in which La Cocorocha is located is a magnificent example of a high mountain setting, with vast natural vegetation masses: oak groves, gall-oak groves and Mediterranean undergrowth in spectacular condition.

Sierra Arana shows an impressive karst landscape with many chasms and caves. This creates a very attractive area, due to the wide variety of resources: botanical, geological, archaeological, fauna, sports.

La Cocorocha is currently located in the estate of the former Public Schools of Síllar, with a 1,300 m2 surface area. With a structure and style akin to that of a refuge, it is the perfect lodging for family and recreational tourism, but also for training activities, as a training centre, for summer camps and for the celebration of ceremonies and events.
