Casa Rural Cuevas del Sur II
The Cuevas del Sur complex is located in Cuevas del Campo (Altiplano region in Granada), near the Pantano de Negratín reservoir and to the south of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Nature Reserve. It is just one hour from Granada and the Alhambra, one and a half hours from Sierra Nevada.
Together with Cueva La Luz and Cueva Negratín, Cueva Triana completes the Cuevas del Sur complex. They share a swimming pool, terraces, lookout points, barbecues and a wood-burning fireplace, as well as showers and hydro-massage cabins.
Cueva Triana is the oldest of the three and the one that was hardest to refurbish. It is also the largest, full of corridors dug patiently into the interior of the earth. And for lovers of exploration and mystery novels, it has a passageway, currently closed, through which it was linked to the surrounding caves. It was used to hide and escape if necessary during the Spanish civil war. Ideal for groups of friends and families of 8 to 10 people.
Cuevas del Sur also arranges a wide variety of outdoor activities: hiking, 4x4, mountaineering and water activities.
* Families: Rooms for families. Cots available. Children's play area.
