Casa Palaciega Torcuato Soler Bolea
Situated in Cuevas del Almanzora, the Torcuato Soler Bolea Mansion is the best example of a Neoclassical bourgeois house. It was built in the 19th century.
The interior is well worth visiting. As soon as you step inside you find a marble staircase which splits into two sections, with two double columns at either side that have plaster lions on top. On the first floor there is wooden coffering and a stained glass window. There are also many noble rooms, most of them painted in tempera and decorated with plaster and paintings of great artistic value.
Of note is the wide variety of motifs that can be found on the bars of the windows and railings in these bourgeois cave-mansions.
Free admission.
