This small hamlet belongs to Segura de la Sierra and is situated to the north east of the province in the midst of the Sierra de Segura Mountains. It is near the Tranco de Beas Reservoir at the beginning of the Guadalquivir valley.

It lies within the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas Natural Park.
