Visit to an Iberian pig farm and ham tour
Iberian Ham comes from the Iberian breed of pigs, highly regarded in Spanish gastronomy and acknowledged throughout the world. The Iberian Pig is bred out in the open in wooded pastures where they eat acorns and which we will also be able to visit.
We will take a guided tour of the facilities in a ranch that produces this extraordinary delicacy and where you will learn all about the ageing and production of Iberian Ham. You will also enjoy a stroll through the land around the ranch where you will learn all about the pigs and the breeding process and discover the natural environment that gives Iberian Ham such a special flavour.
After the visit to all the facilities of the livestock farm and gaining a deeper understanding of the production process, you will then enjoy a tasting of Iberian Ham to conclude with an inimitable flavour.
