Bodegas Jamones Eíriz Jabugo
Jamones Eíriz Jabugo is a family business with 200 years of tradition and experience, one of the oldest ham cellars. We elaborate in an artisan way, in the Sierra of Huelva, Iberian acorn-fed hams and cured meats.
We are located in the heart of the Sierra de Aracena Nature Reserve, in the province of Huelva, Spain,
at one hour from Seville, two hours from the airport of Faro or Jerez de la Frontera.
Jamones Eíriz Jabugo is on the Jabugo Route established by the Ministry of Tourism together with the Designation of Origin after a selection of establishments which then underwent an audit.
We organize guide tours in our facilities, it is composed of 3 steps:
- The pastures, near the natural cellars. You will appreciate in detail the habitat where the acorn-fed Iberian pig are raised.
- The natural cellars where we cure our acorn-fed Iberian Hams DOP Jabugo and our cured meats. Step-by-step we analyze the phases of the traditional method of production.
- The tasting. We offer you a special tasting of our products shared with wines from the DO Condado de Huelva. We will cut ham in live, in front of you in a peaceful surrounding, with warmth and personal attention.
This last stage of the visit can be extended at the request of the customer to taste all the products we make or to take part in a curving lesson acorn-fed Iberian ham with the Huelva Designation of Origin.
