Patio de la Judería
In the Jewish Quarter in Cordoba, in the exceptional setting of a 17th-century palatial house, Restaurante Patio la Judería allows you to sample the most traditional dishes of Andalusian cuisine with a hint of modern gastronomy, as well as excellent migas (fried seasoned breadcrumbs) from Extremadura or a delicious cod confit. The gastronomic legacy of the different cultures that have inhabited the place converge here, giving form to the same recipes that have been cooked in Cordoba since the times of Al Andalus.
The menu includes different original recipes, such as the famous aubergines with honey of Sephardic origins, smoked sardines, salmorejo (cold tomato paste), oxtail or veal cheek with couscous. 70% of the produce used in the kitchen is born and bred in our region, chosen for its top quality.
A daughter of wine-makers from the town of Montilla, Patio de la Judería is committed to promoting the great quality of wine, both in its natural state and as an ingredient to perfume vegetables and sauces. As shown by the artichokes a la montillana, the salmon or chargrilled steak in sweet Pedro Ximénez wine sauce. The wine is produced in the family-run winery, Galán Porter – a cellar that has won International Gold Medals for quality.
Patio de la Judería is the only restaurant in Spain offering flamenco music and dancing, free of charge – a show with a difference (only at night).
