El Churrasco
Restaurant El Churrasco opened in 1970, and was responsible for popularising the Cordoban steak, which consists of a char-grilled Iberian pork fillet accompanied by two typical Arab sauces (red and green).
A excellent venue for enjoying meats char-grilled over holm-oak charcoal, set in the heart of Cordoba’s old Jewish quarter.
Cuisine prepared with fresh top-quality seasonal produce, including beef, Iberian pork and game, as well as fish and shellfish brought daily from distribution centres all over Spain, and locally-grown vegetables.
There is no fixed menu, as it varies regularly according to the produce in the market. There is a menu featuring different brands of extra virgin olive oil, and an excellent wine cellar.
Monday to Sunday from 1 to 4 pm. and 8 pm. to midnight.
