For a century, Casa Rubio has formed part of the memory of Cordoba, and it was the birthplace of the renowned Cordoban intellectual and historian, Antonio Jaén Morente. Casa Rubio breathes the history of Cordoba and distinction for each of its corners.
Forerunner of good food, quality tapas, excellent cuisine and exquisite service, it's one of the establishments with most character in the city. Founded in 1920, it wasn't until 1932 that it began to be known as Casa Rubio.
The cuisine at Casa Rubio restaurant is based on first-class ingredients, and the dishes are living proof of the quality and diversity of Andalusian cuisine: fresh fish and seafood, vegetables from the most select vegetable gardens, the best meat… Excellent ingredients that produce delicious food, such as grilled Iberian steak, the almadraba tuna fish and grilled steak from the Pedroches Valley, as well as delicious ideas linked to the local cuisine, such as oxtail omlette and famous Rubio flamenquin.
Over the years, the fried fish platters have acquired a legendary culinary status. A tradition that they have kept going, for diners of the 21st century to enjoy.
