History, like life itself, always goes on, and we are here to bear witness to it. The starters, for instance, are an elegy to the Al-Andalus legacy, such as salmorejo (like thick gazpacho) with tomato water and Iberian bread. A good example of the historical relationship between Cordoba and the sea is the steamed monkfish with Montilla Moriles wine, and crustacean gazpachuelo. The countryside, backbone of the province and origin of most of its culinary heritage, is represented by Córdoba Perol (a local rice dish similar to paella) with a modern twist, and the superb meat dishes. And for dessert, we recommend the white chocolate and yogurt soup on a bed of chocolate and María-biscuit ice cream.
Monday to Sunday from 1 to 4:30 pm. and from 8 to 11 pm.
