Córdoba Provincial Tourist Board

The Provincial Tourism Board of Cordoba (PPTC) is the tourist promotion entity of Córdoba County Council. It is a self-governing body of the County Council specialised in tourism, its main aim being the tourist promotion of Córdoba as a tourist destination.
Some of the main guidelines and action strategies of the Provincial Tourism Boad of Córdoba are:
Promotional strategies :
- More coordination among the different tourist promotion bodies of Andalusia.
- More collaboration, mediation and arbitration of the PPTC with the relevant public and private agents.
- Introduction of new tourist promotion models of Cordoba based on themed blocks and routes.
- More use of the Internet and the New Technologies applied to tourist promotion.
- Starting up of the Tourist Observatory of the province.
- Further promotion of fam trips and press trips, as well as promotional actions directly addressed to consumers., etc.
Strategy to Develop Tourist Products, Quality and Training :
- Plan for the Tourist Promotion of the Montilla-Moriles wine route.
- Monitoring of the Project for developing the Sierra Morena supraprovincial tourist destination.
- Management of our participation in different supraprovincial routes/labels such as: "Splendor's", "Bética Romana", "Califato", etc.
- Management of new tourist development projects: "Mining: an opencast future" and "Route of artistic-historical monuments".
- Organization of Congresses, Seminars and Conferences for professionals of the tourist sector, etc.
