Estadio Municipal Nuevo Arcángel

The Nuevo Arcángel stadium is owned by Cordoba City Council. Córdoba C.F. is allowed to use it for 50 years as their home stadium. It is situated 500 metres from the old El Arcángel stadium, in the area called El Arenal, where the El Arcángel Shopping Centre is also situated.

The new stadium, officially called "Nuevo Arcángel", was built in 1993. It had athletics tracks, a capacity of 15,425 spectators and a field measuring 100 x 68 metres. Its facilities are currently being fully remodelled because they were insufficient. The visibility from the stands was quite poor because there was a large gap between them and the field, so the seats have been brought closer and the athletics tracks have been removed. Current capacity: 20,989 spectators.

The project for the Nuevo Arcángel stadium includes the extension of the capacity to around 25,000 seats, and of the office building (which has already been built), hotel, car park, shopping area, etc.
