Andalusian Basketball Federation

The functions of the Andalusian Basketball Federation (F.A.B.) include the government, administration, management, organisation, development and promotion of the sport of Basketball throughout the Autonomous Region of Andalusia. It consists of sports clubs, sports departments, sportsmen and sportswomen, trainers, and referees who voluntarily and expressly become members by acquiring the appropriate licence.

Its objectives consist of the promotion, practice and development of Basketball within the territory of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.

In addition to its own powers, it undertakes public functions of an administrative nature by delegation, acting in these cases as a collaborating agent of the Administration and is categorised as a public utility in Andalusia.
