Meryan, craftwork in leather.

Located in the heart of the city of Córdoba, in Calleja de las Flores, Meryan is a family business with over 50 years of history. It was founded by the prestigious painter from Cordoba, Ángel López-Obrero and his wife Mercedes Miarons, their children and grandchildren are currently still carrying on their work.

Their aim is to work in leather, above all "Cordoba leather”: goat leather and "guadamecí" (leather laminated with silver), a deep-rooted craft in the city dating back to the 10th century. They create all types of leather accessories and decoration, handmade in original Cordoba leather. Current designs in line with current fashion trends.

Meryan organises practical workshops to learn the craft and take part in work processes involving Cordoba and embossed leather.
