Cordoba Exhibition, Fair and Convention Centre (CEFC)

The Cordoba Exhibition, Fair and Convention Centre (CEFC), located in the city of Cordoba, is one of the most modern and versatile spaces for fairs and conferences in Spain. Inaugurated in October 2022 and managed by the Cordoba City Council, the centre was created to meet the city's need for a multipurpose and functional space with a larger capacity, allowing for holding conferences and trade fair activities of all types.

The main exhibition area – an open space of 4,688.69 square metres that can be configured into up to 16 different layouts with a modular panel and seating system – is suitable for hosting conferences, fairs, conventions, presentations and all types of events, ranging from small meetings to a conference for 2,500 people or a trade exhibition for 5,000.

In addition to its versatility, another standout feature of the Cordoba Exhibition, Fai and Convention Centre (CEFC) is its design, created by architects Fernando Suárez and Javier Terrados, who aimed to provide Cordoba with a unique structure and its iconic hall. The geometric façade, a lattice with 6,000 windows inspired by Hispano-Arabic designs, conveys a sense of solidity and a strong institutional character, while also referencing the dynamic and ever-changing nature of the centre's content.

Four UNESCO World Heritage sites, a rich cultural and culinary scene, its strategic location, and an excellent transportation network – including high-speed train connections to Madrid, Seville, Malaga, Granada, Zaragoza, Barcelona and Valencia – make Cordoba one of the top conference destinations in the country.
