Espacio Iniciarte de Córdoba

The Espacio Iniciarte in Córdoba is an exhibition hall designed to display the work of young Andalusian artists. It is part of a programme by the Regional Government of Andalusia that arose in 2006 as a support for contemporary creation and the fabric of cultural industries in our community.

Public contests are called each year to select projects for exhibition by creators and researchers in the field of emerging visual arts.

The projects are selected by committees that do not depend on the programme, consisting of professionals from all fields of the cultural industries related to contemporary art, from university professors, museum curators, independent critics, gallery owners and members of associations and groups linked to the visual arts.
