Cordoba handicrafts have preserved their traditions from generation to generation. The craft workers are proud to preserve production processes that, in some cases, date from Umayyad era.

Research and a clear interest in recovering craft skills that were almost lost, craft workers are once again using traditional production techniques. The defence, promotion and promulgation of these trades by the Cordoba Association of Craftspeople has led regional institutions to declare the historical old town of Córdoba an official Area of Craft Interest. This is where a large number of craftsmen have their workshops and use characteristic production and marketing techniques.

We will take a tour around some of these craft workshops and discover their traditions and expertise. Our official guides will take you to watch their skills and get first-hand knowledge of their history, traditions and the techniques used. Then you'll be invited to a glass of sherry and a tapa in a traditional Córdoba tavern.
