Sede Institucional y Área de Gestión Integral de Medina Azahara

The centre is a cultural facility that services the Archaeological Ensemble of Medina Azahara, hosting and promoting activities that contribute to a greater appreciation of the archaeological site.

The services it hosts and/or provides can be summarised as follows:

- Tourism/cultural activities and services (conferences, seminars, routes, co-operation projects, etc.).

- Educational activities, targeted at schools.

- Dissemination and promotional activities, nationally and internationally.

- Research, restoration and conservation activities.

On display in the Museum are artefacts of enormous historical value, illustrating the various spaces, milestones and periods through which the Palatine City of Medina Azahara passed.

The centre also houses a library, a classroom, a conservation and research area, an area for artefacts not on display, restoration workshops, a shop and a café.
