Plaza de las Tendillas
It is one of the oldest squares of Cordova. The first news about this place back to the fifteenth century. During this time it was a small square in which stood a small hospital and a convent, the Commendation of Calatrava. In addition, there existed a great business in small shops, where the square was named.
During the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the square, which remained smaller than in the at present, was used as a market.
Following successive reforms, this square has become one of the favorite meeting places for people of Cordova and visitors.
