Waterman School

In Conil de la Frontera and in order to promote and teach water sports, Waterman School was founded. A fresh approach offering more than just traditional methods for teaching water sports, such as surfing and stand up surfing, with a methodology endorsed by years of experience as well as FES and IOSUP-qualified instructors.

Waterman school organises activities involving surfing, windsurfing and paddleboarding. Regarding the Tuna Trap Route, the school runs paddleboarding trips to the tuna traps as well as other routes along the River Roche and the “cemetery of anchors”. Both routes include explanations regarding the ancient art of tuna traps.
