Bodegas Almijara

Bodegas Almijara, located in a spectacular setting of the Axarquía in Malaga, in the town of Cómpeta, some 636 metres above sea - level in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara and Tejeda mountains, was founded during the 1970s. In 1993 it was consolidated as such in the sector, with the production of its famous Jarel Wines, and in 2000 it was accepted into the Origen Málaga and Sierras de Málaga Designations of Origin.

So you can discover and learn about the process of producing Muscatel wine, Bodegas Almijara gives the visitor the chance to visit its facilities where, in addition to the tour, you can sample the delicious wines made 100% with Moscatel de Alejandría grapes.
