Flour mill founded in 1780 based on the friction of two stones, which were moved by the force of water. Nowadays it is an ecological flour mill, which maintains the old infrastructure, adapted to electricity. It houses a small museum on farming implements.

It could have been the mill of Pan next to the Puerta de Alora in the period of the repartimientos, around 1541, described as "molyno de Garci Fernández Manrique , que alinda con las casas de Juan García del Viso e con la puerta de Alora" (the mill of Garci Fernández Manrique, which adjoins the houses of Juan García del Viso and the Puerta de Alora).

It was located in this place due to the presence of the River, and/or Acequia de los Molinos, which came from the Albaicín, passing through Calle Mesones, Calle de los Molinos and finally joining the River de La Villa, or River Berenguel. This infrastructure irrigated vegetable gardens and moved the mills built along its course. Also associated with this river of the Mills, and probably in this street, are the Old Arab Baths and an old Mosque.

The building has a Mudejar doorway, made of large rough brick, following the style of the popular renaissance, such as the one located at the west side entrance of the Church of San Juan, following the Andalusian Hispano-Muslim tradition.

This type of doorway can be seen in numerous houses in the locality, most of them hidden under hundreds of layers of whitewash.
