Cooperativa La Unión de Chilluévar

Cooperativa La Unión de Chilluévar is located, as indicated by its name, in the municipality of Chilluévar in Jaén province. It was established on 15 March 2007, through the merger of two cooperatives in the municipality, San Vicente and Nuestra Señora de la Paz, which, in turn, had been created through other mergers between small-scale olive oil producers during the twentieth century.

La Unión de Chilluevar has over a thousand members who are able to benefit from the geographical characteristics of the area to produce an authentic product in terms of quality, aroma and flavour, growing the best "picual" and "royal" olives harvested at the ideal time.
