Museo de la Sal del C.R.A. Salinas de Chiclana

The Salt Museum in the Salinas de Chiclana Environmental Resources Centre, situated on the edge of the Cádiz town of Chiclana de la Frontera, in the Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park, contains many natural and cultural resources of particular ethnographic interest, which are representative of the heritage of Cadiz, and are extremely interesting for environmental education.

Currently the Salinas de Chiclana Environmental Resources Centre, located in a traditional old salt mine, Santa María de Jesús Salt Mine, also has some interesting areas, such as the Salt House, Viewing Spot, Organic Vegetable Plot, Farm, Natural Spa and Restaurant, where numerous activities are available: birdwatching; salt product sampling; beauty, leisure and well-being workshops, etc.
