Los Villares

The Visitor Centre of Los Villares in Cordoba has the following facilities:

Car parks with areas prepared for disabled persons and coaches.

Visitor Centre on Protected Nature Areas of Cordoba and RENPA Zone (Network of Protected Areas of Andalusia) with all the information about these in Andalusia.

"Infolince” Information Point on the status of the Iberian Lynx.

Reception, a Multiple-Use Room available for talks, courses, technical workshops, conferences, etc. and shop in "Los Villares" park with organic products of hygiene, food, crafts, books on nature and Official Guides to the Nature Reserves of Andalusia.

Centre for Non-recoverable Species: guided tours by CIS of the Los Villares Threatened Species Recovery Centre (CREA). Different bird species can be seen here that, once recovered at CREA and unable to survive by their own means in the wild, are used for environmental education and studies on the species. Bird Observatory (Hide de la Charcha) next to the Visitor Centre is a bird observatory perfectly designed so that lovers of photography and birds can practise their hobby. Currently, the access to the enclosure has been adapted to make it fully accessible by the disabled.

The GR48 trail in its stage 17.
Next to the Visitor Center is the Camping Los Villares Sierra de Córdoba, second-class rural campsite, reopened in June 2019.
