Casa Rural Monasterio La Cartuja
The Monasterio La Cartuja Country house is in the district of Cazalla de la Sierra, in the Sierra Norte de Sevilla Nature Reserve.
The Monasterio La Cartuja Country House lies within the historic site of the old La Cartuja de Cazalla monastery, originally used by lay brother monks since the 15th century.
The suites and rooms are reconverted cells, built in 1416 by the Order of Saint Jerome. These are now comfortable rooms with a lot of charm and beautiful views over the gardens, the cloister or the valley. The décor is rustic but not austere and the bathrooms have mosaics and built-in showers.
The accommodation is a stone building, on 2 floors, there are 4 large suites with 2 separate doubles and 1 bathroom with shower (for 4 people) downstairs. 2 double rooms, one with a private bathroom, the second with a bathroom in the hallway on the 1st floor.
With 4 extra folding beds. 6 bathrooms with shower in the whole house.
