The Las Cristaleras Trail - PR A 322, starts in the municipal district of Castro de Filabres, next to the recreational area. The path passes mainly along dirt tracks and trails, through unique ecosystems and ancient remains, which in the form of farmhouses, stables, remains of a mill and an Arab castle, show how the traditional life of the village people was.

Throughout the “Barranco del Royo” and following the white huts used to transport the water from the mine to the village, the route follows bridle paths, where we can see the diversity of the existing trees, such as almond trees, chestnut trees and an enormous elder tree. The water that runs along the ravine will accompany us for the first half of the route, until we cross it. Beforehand, we will pass through many ruins, vertical schist walls, called “Canjorros”.

After passing some houses known as “casas de las cristaleras”, which give the trail its name, we reach the highest point where we can enjoy views of the "Macizo de los Filabres and the Sierra de Alhamilla as well as the Tabernas solar power station. In the descent, we can find several farmhouses such as “the farmhouse of the holes”. As we cross the "Los Morales" area, we can see the remains of the Moorish castle and the mill, as well as the houses of the town of Castro de Filabres.
