The Acequias de la Vega de Tubos Trail (Castril, Granada) SL-A 380 can be enjoyed at any time of the year. It is recommended to undertake the hike on clear days to fully appreciate the views.

The trail follows a semi-circular route, with an initial section that is an out-and-back path, and a circular part at its upper end.

We start from the Castril Tourist Viewpoint, approximately eighty meters along the road towards Huéscar, then turn left to begin the ascent on the old path from Castril to Santiago de la Espada. As we gain elevation alongside the Ramal del Chorro, passing by some farmhouses and mills, we eventually reach the path leading to the Tubos Recreational Area, where we turn left and walk on level ground.

After about one kilometer on asphalt, the circular part of the trail begins. By turning right, we cover nearly 900 meters before taking a left onto a dirt track that leads us to the Tubos Recreational Area, where we can take a break and visit the washhouse, fountain, and pond.

We continue on the dirt track, passing through olive groves and cultivated areas until we reach the Martín farmhouse. From there, we head south on a dirt path that brings us back to the asphalt section, completing the circular part and retracing our steps to the starting point.
