Camping Huerta Romero

The Huerta Romero Campsite is located in the heart of the Costa Tropical in the province of Granada, in the small fishing village of Castell de Ferro, (Castillo de Hierro), with the sea as a backdrop and resting on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada. There, on the Playa Poniente beach, about 400 metres from the town, the Huerta Romero Campsite gives a friendly and unique welcome to travellers from all over the world, so they can rest and relax with all that they desire for a holiday by the sea.

The exceptional location south of Las Alpujarras and only 15 metres from the beach will enable you to enjoy a number of interesting itineraries, both tourist and historical as well as cultural and natural (Salobreña, Válor, Lanjarón, Trevélez, etc.), and all their gastronomic delights: Andalusian fried breadcrumbs, dried octopus, beans with ham, nuts and juicy tropical fruits…

The Huerta Romero Campsite has 95 spacious plots. There are also new and very pleasant services: bar, terrace, supermarket, hot and cold showers (heated by solar power), telephone, surveillance, mail, etc.

The Campsite is a true botanical garden with a great variety of plants, all classified by their scientific and common names; as well as a small zoo.
